2 year Minnie Birthday Party

Our baby girl turned 2! I had planned on avoiding "character" birthdays as long as possible, but the girl loves Minnie so I couldn't resist. It started out a little shaky, with Paige throwing up her dinner just as we were about to get her dressed for the party, but then she seemed fine and ready to celebrate. She was very excited about her "party" as she kept saying over and over.

 All of the Minnie bows were very fun to look at.

 We played pin the bow on Minnie (thanks to my dad making an adorable Minnie face). Paige and Grace skipped over the whole close your eyes aspect and just enjoyed putting bows everywhere.

Then it was onto presents. Once she opened up her Minnie dress up outfit it immediately had to go on. She even walked around showing everyone her dress.

 

Finally it was time for cake and ice cream. My brother-in-law, Brandon, once again made an adorable cake for Paige. After a little help from dad she got her candles blown out. And apparently she thought she had her own entire cake again this year and started eating the side of it.

 She was so lucky to have 3 great-grandparents, grandparents, an aunt, uncle, and cousins to celebrate with her.

And one picture of her on her actual birthday the next day before church. We sure love this little 2 year-old and it was so fun seeing her excitement with her party. She even tried to put her decorations outside the next day and have another "party". Happy birthday Paigey girl!
