I'm realizing New Year's Eve with little kids is kind of tricky. You need a babysitter really late, but most teenagers are at a dance, so it's hard. So very last minute we threw together a little party with 2 other couples. We celebrated the New Year at like 8:30 so their babysitters could go do whatever cool things they had planned. So at like 5:00 we let the kids do a count down and then our friends came for treats and games. I'm glad we threw it together and got to do a parents version of celebrating :)
