The main reason for our trip to Utah was Leigh's wedding, but we were able to squeeze some other fun things in, too. I hadn't been to Utah since Ben and I moved after graduating, so it had been over 3 years. One of the most important things on our agenda (and yes, I actually typed up an agenda to try to make sure everyone got in what they wanted...yes, that's weird), was to visit BYU. Unfortunately it was a rainy day so we didn't walk around much, but we still hit up the bookstore and drove around reminiscing and being shocked at the different changes.

We were able to meet up at Cafe Rio with Ben's youngest sister, Hannah, and his brother, Dillon and Amy and Vince. So glad we got to catch up with them!

Ben got to meet up with some of his old roommates, we had lunch at City Creek with Braden (and ran into Stephanie!), and then met up on Sunday for Music and the Spoken Word with Caleb, Lauren and cute baby Cache. So fun getting to catch up with them, and fun getting to see these two giants/best friends reunited.
Then a little touring around Temple Square before we hit the airport.
Getting back home to North Carolina was a little trickier than we expected. It was crazy already because I was exactly 36 weeks (the last day they usually let you fly), we had 6 suitcases, 4 carry-on bags, car seat, stroller, and well....a toddler. Everything was on time for us to fly to Denver, then connect to our flight to NC. Soon our flight to Denver was so delayed we were missing our connection, and the best option was to get a connecting flight to Orlando...so to FL we went. One of the trickiest parts was maneuvering all of our bags from the Orlando airport to the hotel shuttle, in our room, sleep for 4 hours, and then maneuver all the bags back again to catch our morning flight into Raleigh. We were quite the site. Silver lining: the amazing Disney store in the airport :)
It was a fun quick trip to end our crazy summer travels, but we were sure happy to finally be back in our house and put our suitcases away for a little while.
